Educational institutions are the true seats of learning. The students, who are really anxious to learn, can develop healthy habits only in the schools. In a school we are taught how to move in society, how to behave with others and how to progress in life.
I read in the St. John’s Higher Secondary School - Andaman and Chennai. With a lush garden outside, the school building presents a magnificent view. Its grassy lawns and gravel path with flowers along its sides and the Asoka trees growing near the gate add to its beauty. Any outsider may form the idea that it is perhaps a memorial building.
Besides the beautiful building, spacious grounds and flowered beds, there are other things which attract our particular attentions. There is a grand swimming pool where every facility is provided to the students to learn swimming. The school has its own canteen where some eatables - hot tea or coffee and cold drinks - are always avail at subsidized rates. Hygienic conditions prevail in and around the school canteen. Besides, there is a cycle stand where the teachers and students park their cycles and scooters. An attendant is there who looks after the vehicles.
Our school has many firsts to its credit. It has won many trophies in inner-school debates and declamation contests. The hockey and basketball teams of our school are adjudged the best in the inner-school sports meet for the past four years.
In studies, our school shows goods results every year. Our school figures in the merit list every year. Our Principal is a great scholar. He meets some of the classes himself once a week to ensure regular teaching. Our teachers are well qualified and trained. They take pains in the teaching work. The students are well behaved and intelligent. The physical training teacher has also worked a lot for the benefit of the students.
The educations authorities are highly satisfied with our school. I am proud of it. It is one’s first and foremost duty to respect one’s school.

A school is very genuine place like a temple where we go daily to learn and study to go ahead in our life. We pray to God daily in the school for our better lives and proper study. We say good morning to our class teacher daily and she responses with her smiling face. Our school has a big garden back to the school building. School is the place where we learn everything with the help of our teachers. They help us in working hard for our study and make us tough to go ahead in our life. They tell us about cleanliness, hygiene and proper healthy diet.
Our teacher always motivates us to take part in the sports activity, quiz competitions, oral and written activities, debates, scouting, group discussion and other activities in the school. Our class teacher teaches us to maintain discipline of the school and keeps the school compound clean and tidy. Our principal tells us motivational messages daily on the stage of prayer. We learn to be honest, truthful, obedient and sincere in our whole life. We learn how to concentrate on the study in the class room. Our school organizes a quiz competition, dance competition and sports competition annually which is compulsory for us to participate.

I study in Cambridge School which is one of the best schools of London. It has a stone building. It has all facilities a good school should have-well furnished classrooms, laboratories, library and playground.
As we enter the school, there is a playground to our left and a small garden to our right. When we enter the building, the Principal’s room and the office room are to the left and the staff room to the right side. These are well furnished. There are thirty four classrooms. Our labs are well equipped. Our library has books almost on all subjects. Our Librarian is also very helpful.
Our school, like all schools, has a prescribed uniform. We have to wear white or cream cotton shirts, light-blue trousers, black shoes and white socks. Girls have to wear white blouses and light-blue skirts in primary and middle classes and white shirts and light-grey skirts in higher classes. They have to tie white ribbon also.
In our school special attention is paid to behavior, cleanliness and punctuality. The most well behaved, neat and punctual student is awarded a prize at the Annual Day function.
Our Principle is a strict disciplinarian. He takes the help of P. T. Teachers too. If any one violates the rules, and is not in uniform, or makes mischief, he gets punished. But he is fair and loving. He tries to find out the reason and guides us.
Our teachers are also quite strict. They teach us with great care, check our note-books, help us when we need but if we are inattentive and don’t work properly, then we are punished.
I like my school very much and I am proud that I belong to it. I shall never forget it.

The school in which I study is an ideal one. That is why I like it. It is situated in an open place. The building is fine with big airy rooms. The school has two large play grounds, a library and a laboratory. A hostel is also attached to it. The strength of the students is nearly one thousands. The principal and the teachers are trained and qualified.
Our school is one of the best institutions in Delhi. The method of teaching here is so nice that the students take keen interest in their studies. Every care is taken for the mental development of children. Good action makes good citizens. The results of my school are always bright. Quite a good number of students win scholarships every year. There are two television sets in the school. Television lessons are very useful for the students.
Every facility is provided for the students. All kinds of books are available in the library. The school has two large play grounds, a library and a laboratory. A hostel is also attached to it. The strength of the students is nearly one thousands. The principal and the teachers are trained and qualified. Most of the students reside in the hostel. The hostel is well managed For physical training every student has to attend the playground. Bedsides athletics and games, the students take part in N.CC. And scouting. Our school enjoys great reputation in sports. Medical aid is also provided for weak and sick boys. In short, our school has all the qualities that go to make an ideal institution. It has won a good name in Delhi. I am proud of it.

School is the temple of learning and get trained for the professional and social life. My school was set up in 1990 on the donated land with the help of donated money. My school atmosphere is very pleasant and school environment is very clean and attractive. My school building is located in the centre of the play ground. On one side of the school there is a big garden having small pond. There are many colourful fish and other water animals in this pond. My school is four storey building having classes for nursery to 12th class students.
My school has one big library, principal office, head office, clerk office, one science laboratory, one computer lab, one common study room, one big lobby, teacher common room, one big sports ground, separate hostel for girls and boys in the school campus. My school has highly qualified and experienced teachers who teach us in very effective and creative manner. My school has around one thousand students who always rank higher in the competitions held outside the school or inside the school. We all go to school in the proper uniform. We have two types of the uniform, one common uniform and other house uniform.
My school timing starts at 7.50 am in the morning and 1.30 pm in the afternoon in the summer season and 8.50 am in the morning and 3.30 pm in the evening in the winter season. We daily go to the library for sometime where we practice reading creative books and newspaper for enhancing our skill and qualities .
